Videoke Buddy

Kombanwa Mina-san!!!

Today, I'd like to talk about my videoke buddy Rachelle. I met her during our training for Dell Technical Support. At first, as to be expected, we didn't talk much because I don't like approaching people. And I don't open up to all that easily. Often times, I wait until I'm comfortable with the person before I tell stories about myself. Anyway, as the training and introduction progressed we still didn't talk much. Then the time came when the moderator of the training asked us to do an activity. It was like a guessing game but with pictures of actors, actresses, and singers in the childhood years. We had to guess the name of the person whose baby picture is shown in the projector. Out of nowhere, Rach and I started guessing random names and made fun of the pictures. For instance, there was this picture of a boy who had this thick long hair and had bangs. We answered, "He-Man" because he really looked like a small version of He-Man only to find out that it was Brad Pitt. All throughout the game, we made fun of every picture that was presented to us; that then lead to our friendship. We have been friends since then.

One day, Rach asked me to go singing with her in a karaoke. Since Timezone was on my way home, I conceded. We had my Timezone card loaded and began to sing song after song after song. During the whole time we were singing, we were laughing because of our antics. I would sometimes sing song that are so high that is beyond my range that I would be shouting instead. The same goes for her. It was like our own private Comedy bar. Then when we hear a song from the other cubicle that we are familiar with, we would sing it. It was our SHINING MOMENT, I should say. There were also instances that we would plan a theme for our videoke trip. It was a lot of fun. I enjoyed every minute of it. The craziest thing we did was drink a very cold beverage after all the singing. We were really crazy. In fact, by the time we decided to go home, my voice was already hoarse while hers was unaffected. So unfair! What a cheat! Just kidding... Well, I can't wait till we would do it again though we just had a session Monday this week. Crazy aren't we?!?! Well, the next time I write about Rachelle, it will really be about her... That is if I learn more about her. That's all for now! JA!!!

The Reunion

To continue my s
tory! As I stated in my earlier post, my old team from CVG decided to conduct a reunion Christmas party at RED BOX Trinoma. Many agreed, and the people who came includes me, Jhay, Dona, Jen, Zara, Jaja, Lani, Dhang, and Tony. It was fun seeing them again. It's just sad that the rest of the team couldn't make it. Wished they could come next time. Anyway, going back to what has transpired of our reunion.... well, how should I say it?! Hmmmm.... Well, it was buckets of fun. Everyone was laughing. Jhay and his antics are the best-sellers. Of course, the rest cracked jokes as well. Everyone has had their own shining moment. During the event, the sickness occurred. You see, whenever I am in a KTV and starts singing, I tend not to let go of the microphone and sing all sorts of song even those that I don't know. So, with great effort I tried letting go of the microphone every now and then.

While everyone was taking there turns singing some were already eating the food prepared for us by REDBOX. It's really delicious. In fact, I ate about 31/2 plates of food serving that excludes the rice count... ahahaha! To be honest, I am not really that hungry during that time but I had no choice but to eat a lot because we will be ask to pay an extra amount if there are leftovers. I guess that is one of the rules of ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT food. FIGURES! While eating that much food, I felt like I was committing sin; the sin of gluttony. Anyway, it was better than way than throw away food right. hehehe!

Moving on, my old team mates and I had a blast. We sang all sort of songs. And because we were such a silly group even the server was played a joke on the server. It was really a fun reunion. At the end of our time their, everyone had their exchange gift except for me. Sadly, I wasn't able to bring any but that doesn't matter... so long as I had fun.... I didn't lose anything.... LOVE you girls! Hope we do it again next time!

A Meeting with a Friend!

KOMBAN MINA-san!

It was and still is an exciting and tiring day!

Today, I meet with one of my closest friend from CVG, JHAY! Today, we are suppose to go to a reunion party with the rest of our old team mates from CVG at 12 noon. Since that is the case, we decided to go to the mall early; and we did. It's been long since I last saw this friend of mine so I obliged myself to go to the meeting place early. I miss talking to him. We met at around 10:30am in front of Timezone. After seeing each other, we decided to stroll around the mall so we can check for thhe price of an airbed. Unfortunately, the personnel who was suppose to attend to us was far too slow that we decided to leave and find a place to rest instead. After a while, we decided to get ourselves some drinks from Starbucks. The pictures I'm posting along this blog are those that we took while taking a break at Starbucks. We talked about a lot of things. I updated him about the current happenings of my life and he did the same. I was amazed, shocked and disturbed when I heard his story. I am happy that I got to talk to Jhay today.... him and his personal vocabulary... After sitting for an hour in Starbucks, we decided to get ourselves fresh in the restroom and register at REDBOX. Unfortunately, we had to wait for 30minutes before our registration can be processed so we decided to sing a song or two at TIMEZONE. I miss singing with Jhay. He owns this awesome voice that I envy. Anyway, not long after we were singing... Jhay received a text message from the rest of the gang. It seems that they have arrived. So we went to meet them and proceeded with our reunion Christmas Party! I'll continue the story with my next post!

My New Hobby

Kombanwa Mina-san!

Currently, I have a new hobby... it's what we call airsoft... It's really fun even though I got myself wounded during the first game, but that did not stop me from playing the game. It's so exciting and the adrenaline rush is gratifying. Good thing my colleagues from Dell CTS introduced me to the game. Let's play AIRSOFT Mina-san. Ikkimashoo!!!

My New Shirt

Greetings Mina-san!!!

I am the kind of person who loves to shop and buy clothing. Sadly, it's quite hard to find the right kind of clothing that fits me well. More often than not, I would have to purchase clothing that are so big I look like a child wearing his father's clothes. It's really hard, so whenever I find clothing that is my size... I oblige myself to buy them. And with that said, I bought this plain black shirt. I really love it because it is my size and it's v-neck. I have been looking for a shirt like this... Good thing, I found it during my daily stroll around the mall. It's really cheap. Hehe! Oh and another thing, it is not only the shirt that is new. My silver necklace and cap are both new. These items will be the first for my new planned collection. I plan to collect necklaces, caps, and sweaters or jackets. The earring is new as well but I didn't get my ears pierced. The earring is just magnet. It's so cute. I'm still contemplating whether I'd really get my ears pierced... Thinking thinking thinking....!!!

GREETINGS!

Greetings everyone,

Komban Mina-san!

Today, I will start to write about happenings in my life in this blog. People may not be interested but I found it gratifying to let the world know my thoughts and emotions in regard to how I spend my life. I'd like to talk about my current achievements and interests as well as my latest purchase and adventures... So to everyone, I hope you don't mind if I post details about my life. This is my new high... Thank you and God Bless!!!
